Members of the Insurance Law group regularly exchange information about current EU regulations and legal updates and often refer work to each other such as the recovery of medical liens, provision of expert opinions and the defence of cross border injury claims.
Craig Evans is a Partner at Clyde & Co and leads the firm’s International & Travel Team. He has over 15 years’ experience specialising exclusively in cross‑border and international claims. Craig advises on high‑profile, sensitive and high‑value matters, working closely with an international network of lawyers and technical specialists.
He is regularly instructed by European and global insurers on complex cross‑border motor, public liability and employers’ liability claims. A recognised specialist in jurisdiction and applicable law, Craig provides strategic advice on policy coverage, liability, quantum, contractual issues and the evolving challenges arising from Brexit.
Craig has significant expertise in catastrophic injury claims, including brain injuries, severe spinal injuries and fatal accidents. He also advises on supplier contracts and recoveries within the international travel sector.
A frequent speaker on international legal issues, Craig is also a regular guest lecturer at a Spanish university. In addition to his role within PEOPIL, he is a member of FOIL’s EU Sector Focus Team.
