Our New Lawyers Group conference in Edinburgh was held on 3 March. The speaker line up was phenomenal and the venue was the breathtaking Signet Library.

A highlight of the year for PEOPIL’s members of the RTA & Whiplash and Tourism Group took place in the beautiful city of Malaga, Spain on 3 – 4 November 2022. Spending a few days with PEOPIL friends and colleagues was a much needed escape for many of us who were eager for some sunshine as winter approached. We had plenty of catching up to do after the last couple of years where our face to face meet ups were sadly much curtailed.
At PEOPIL’s conference in Copenhagen in September 2022, Linda Egeland and Carl Aasland Jerstad, both attorneys at Haver Advokatfirma AS, presented the Norwegian “America-case”. In June 2022 the Supreme Court of Norway delivered a decision in the case.
One of PEOPIL’s ten European Exchange Groups, the Young Lawyers, held their annual conference on 24-25 March 2022 in Madrid, Spain.
The YLG brings together the best and brightest young personal injury lawyers, enabling them to initiate new contacts, share experiences and build each other up in pursuing their careers.
